Life Transformation Coaching

Frequently asked question

What is life transformation coaching?

A life transformation coach is a professional life coach who helps clients achieve their personal and professional goals – career direction, finding a soul mate, identifying your dreams/goals, landing a dream job, growing a business, starting a new business, how to deal with retirement, eating healthier, overcoming an obstacle, improve your self-confidence, and much more. Sometimes people are not so clear what exactly they want. They are at crossroads and a Life coaching provides them with guidance on how to make decisions no matter what stage they are in life.

Life coaching is not intended to be a quick- fix magic-bullet. It uses principles of positive psychology and empowers clients to generate lasting transformation. It takes time to build physical muscles and, similarly, a life coach helps to build clients’ mental muscles so they can think differently and approach life more effectively. Clients will gradually develop the strength to face challenges in life with ease and grace.

How do you help your clients?

My coaching is all about you. I help you discover what excites you, what is meaningful to you and what has been holding you back. It is all about following your own unique path. Together we plan and design a personalized action plan to help you move forward and stay on track.

I provide guidance, support, tools and feedback. Accountability is an integral key. Research shows that people are much more likely to complete a task when they are held accountable for the results. We form a synergistic partnership.

By utilizing cutting-edge coaching techniques with my own intuitive perceptivity, I help you shift your awareness and connect with a deeper sense of purpose. This will inspire you to take action leading to sustainable change.

What happens during a life coaching session?

Coaching is highly customized to fit your needs and no two coaching relationships are the same.

We start by taking stock of your current situation and clarifying your vision. I will ask questions which are designed to challenge your thoughts, encourage your insights and discover your options.

We will work together to:

  • Determine your vision for personal and professional success
  • Identify your core values, strengths and priorities so you can better leverage and honor them in your personal and professional life
  • Develop a self-care practice that will best serve you and support you in achieving your goals
  • Identify and manage fear, doubt, worry or guilt that interferes with the changes you want to make in your life
  • Develop new best practices for time management and/or stress management
  • Identify and re-work negative perspectives, patterns or old ways of thinking that no longer serve you or the pursuit of your goals
  • Break down your goals into small, achievable action steps that are big enough to move you forward and small enough to be realistic. Realistic goals are key to success.Break down your goals into small, achievable action steps that are big enough to move you forward and small enough to be realistic. • Determine what will best motivate you and hold you accountable to your goals

Once your goals and anticipated milestones have been defined, you will make a commitment to taking specific action steps before we meet next. We will then review the progress and make necessary adjustments until you reach your desired results.

New clients usually start with a 3-month commitment. Sessions last 60 minutes and are held 3 sessions/month for 3 contiguous months.

How does life coaching differ from traditional therapies?

Coaching and therapies work with different paradigms. Of course each practitioner works differently but therapy tends to treat past emotional issues while coaching considers that clients are healthy, and focuses on where they are now, where they want to be, and how to get there. In general, coaching is more action-oriented.
